Thank you for booking with Triplocator®. Please take a few minutes to read these Booking Terms before you confirm. By completing your booking, you agree to them, to the cancellation policy of your tour shown at checkout, and to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Who you are booking with

Triplocator® is a booking platform. Each tour or activity is run by the independent tour company named on the tour page and in your confirmation (the "tour company"). We take your booking and payment and look after you while you book; the tour company provides the tour itself.

2. Your booking and confirmation

Your booking is confirmed once your payment goes through and you receive our confirmation e-mail with your booking reference.
For some tours, the tour company confirms the exact start time, meeting point or pick-up details after you book. They will contact you using the details you give us, so please make sure your e-mail address and phone number are correct.
Please check the names, date, number of travelers and contact details before you pay, and let us know straight away if anything needs correcting.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include everything listed as included on the tour page. Anything listed as not included (for example some meals, drinks, tips, visa fees or personal expenses) is paid separately.
Any fees are shown at checkout before you pay. The amount you see at checkout is the amount you are charged.
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details go directly to the payment processor and are never stored on our servers.

4. Travel insurance (required)

Every traveler in your booking must have travel insurance for the whole trip. Your insurance should cover at least:

medical treatment and hospital care;
emergency evacuation and repatriation;
the activities included in your tour, for example trekking or hiking at altitude, rafting, wildlife safaris or other adventure activities.

We also strongly recommend cover for trip cancellation and interruption, travel delays, and baggage and personal belongings. Please carry your insurer's name, your policy number and their 24-hour emergency phone number. The tour company may ask to see them before the tour starts, and for some adventure activities may not be able to take a traveler without proof of cover. Costs from an accident, illness, evacuation or cancellation that are not covered by insurance are the traveler's own. Triplocator® does not sell insurance.

5. Passports, visas, permits and health

You are responsible for having a valid passport, any visas or entry permits, and any vaccinations or health documents needed for your trip. Many countries require a passport valid for at least six months after you arrive. Please check your government's travel advice before you go.
Please tell the tour company before the tour about any medical condition, allergy, dietary need, mobility need or pregnancy, so they can look after you well.
Each tour page shows its activity level. Please choose a tour that suits your fitness and health, and ask your doctor for advice before trekking at high altitude or taking part in demanding activities.
Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, unless the tour page says otherwise.

6. Changes and cancellations by you

Cancellations follow the cancellation policy of your tour, shown at checkout and in your confirmation. You can cancel through Manage My Booking or by contacting us.
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used. Once issued, the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
If you would like to change your date or number of travelers, please contact us. Changes depend on availability and on the tour company's agreement, and any difference in price applies.
If you miss the start of the tour or arrive too late to join it, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refundable.

7. Changes and cancellations by the tour company

The tour company may change the itinerary, route, timing or accommodation when weather, road or trail conditions, permits or safety require it. They will always aim to keep the experience as close as possible to what you booked.
If the tour company cancels your tour, you will be offered another date or a refund of the amount you paid for that tour.

8. Events beyond anyone's control

Sometimes things happen that neither we nor the tour company can prevent or control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, epidemics or civil unrest. In these cases we will work with the tour company to find the fairest solution for you, such as a new date or a refund in line with your tour's cancellation policy. Neither Triplocator® nor the tour company is responsible for extra costs caused by such events. This is one of the reasons travel insurance is required.

9. On your tour

Please follow your guide's safety instructions at all times, and respect local laws, customs, wildlife and the environment.
The tour company may refuse to start or continue a tour with a traveler whose behaviour, or whose condition through alcohol or drugs, puts themselves or others at risk. In that case no refund is due.
Please look after your personal belongings, passports and valuables.

10. Responsibility

The tour company is responsible for providing the tour and for the safety of its services, vehicles, equipment and staff. Triplocator® is responsible for the booking service. To the extent the law allows, Triplocator® is not liable for the acts or omissions of the tour company, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

11. Questions and complaints

If something is not right during your tour, please tell your guide or the tour company straight away, so they can put it right while you are there. If it is still not resolved, please write to us within 30 days after your tour with your booking reference, and we will be glad to help.

12. Your privacy

At Triplocator® we highly value your privacy and are committed to ensuring that no personal or financial information is leaked in any way. We encrypt your personal details using state-of-the-art technology to protect your information from any kind of misuse or leakage. In a world where there's a rising risk of identity theft and fraudulent use of financial information, Triplocator® can reassure you that your private information is secured with some of the most advanced technologies available.

Our Privacy Policy covers treatment of personally identifiable information collected on the official Triplocator® website.

How we use your information: We collect some personal information in order to process your reservations. This includes your name, email address or phone number, postal address, and nationality. Our security system automatically receives and records information in our database, including your IP address and the pages you've visited, along with any price quotations that you've requested for lodging, accommodation, etc. We use it to:

Process your reservation requests

Register and curate your account
Confirm your purchases
Ensure you receive the correct bill
Measure interest in and improve our products, services, and website
Prevent prohibited or illegal activities

How we use your posts: We love getting your posts and contributions on the Triplocator® website, be that reviews, questions and answers, or photos from your trip. Triplocator® is a public website, so please make sure that you're happy for any personal information in your posts to be seen by others: you're responsible for what you choose to share.

We reserve the right to store your posts, publicly display them on our website, edit or translate them, use them for promotional purposes with or without attribution, or delete them without keeping copies, at our discretion.

Call recording: Please be aware that we may record calls to and from Triplocator®. We use call recordings to monitor and improve our customer service, check the accuracy of the information you provide us with, prevent fraud, and as training material for our staff. We'll store the call recordings for as long as is reasonably necessary to carry out these activities and then delete them. Any personal information which you share during a call will be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing and Disclosure: Triplocator® will not exchange, sell, or rent your personal identifiable information to anyone. When we make your reservation, we'll send some basic information about you to our partner company (or companies) who'll be running your trip day-to-day, in order to provide a prompt and reliable travel service to you. In such circumstances, we will share only the minimum information required.

Any company who wants to become a Triplocator® partner has to agree with us in advance that they will not share or sell customers' personal information. Companies who don't agree to this are not allowed to advertise on the Triplocator® website, and any partner organization who breaks our confidentiality rules will have their Triplocator® account permanently revoked.

So you can book securely with us in the knowledge that Triplocator® and our partners will keep your personal information safe.

Debit and credit card details: Thanks to Stripe's signature security feature, your debit or credit card details go directly to the payment processor and never even pass through Triplocator®'s server, so we can't and won't store your sensitive payment information. Our partner companies don't have access to your payment details either.

Cookies: Triplocator® may set and access cookies on your computer for security reasons. Web cookies are identifiers which let a web server know that you are the same person who accessed the server the last time you used it. This is a further measure designed to ensure that your private information is safe with us.

Triplocator® allows you to edit and update your account information and preferences at any time.

We will continue to enhance our security system and procedures, using the latest technology.

Other people's information: If you're making a purchase on behalf of someone else, then you may need to provide us with their personal information. You need to ensure that you have their consent first before you share their information with us.

External websites: This Privacy Policy applies only to Triplocator®. Where our website includes links to other websites, these do not operate under our Privacy Policy. External websites will have their own policies, which you should read through to ensure you're comfortable with how they intend to use your information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may amend our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any such amendments and will let you know if we need to make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information.
